It's been a little while since I've done a blog entry so I wanted to check in and let you know what's been happening. I've been busy keeping up with the beer at for the brewpub and have been working on getting our production brewery together so that we can start distributing later this year.
As far as the beers we have on tap now, we have Faust Golden Ale, Walter's Ghostly Pale Ale, Mike Crowe IPA, Vinny's ESB, and Altered States. OktoberFaust has been brewed and is fermenting comfortably, getting ready for its release either the last Friday in September or the first in October (stay tuned to our Facebook page for details). On August 22nd we will release our Bourbon Barrel Bacon Alt, and as soon as that is gone we will tap a Double IPA. Thanks for keeping up with us and patronizing our bar and restaurant !
A little update
I have had a long and crazy life. At times, it was amazing, and sometimes it was absolutely horrible. I have worked at six breweries in Texas over the last 20 years and learned valuable lessons at all of them. All of it has led me to where I am now, on the verge of extending the reach of Faust Brewing Company into the flow of beers to the population at large at their favorite bars, stores, and in their homes. I have spent the last three years developing beers that I am proud to serve to our patrons at the Faust Hotel & Brewing Company, and in the coming months I will be charged with putting together a brewery at our second location (with lots of help) and producing and delivering, on a much larger scale, the absolute best ales and lagers that I can. I am ready to take full advantage of this opportunity to continue to do the best for the people who have supported us to this point and will be with us into all of our future endeavors.

Hey there beer lovers!
Sorry it's been a while since I've blogged but I've had lots to do. I've been brewing a lot and trying to keep up with beer sales. We've been getting ready for our busy season by making Milk Stout for our Brewmaster's Dinner on October 16th and the start of Wurstfest with OctoberFaust and Procrastinator Doppelbock. Ray's Damnation Barleywine that was brewed in January will be released on November 1, 2013 for the start of Wurstfest.
We are now taking reservations for Brewmasters Dinner on October 16th, it is a five course meal paired with our house brews. Call 830-625-7791 to rmake reservations.
We will be brewing in the parking lot on October 14th.
